FESTIVAL 101: THE XX NIGHT + DAYMay 29, 2013
Let’s be honest, The xx have always liked to do it rather big. Their debut album back in 2009 had the music world gawping at there minimalist approach to dreamy pop music, laying a down a legacy for the next generation of bands. And now they’re at it again, creating their very own event Night + Day, a collection of shows scattered in the world’s most unique locations.
With two of the events already done in Europe (Berlin and Lisbon), the trio are heading back to U.K soil for a performance within the grounds of Hertfordshire’s Hatfield House on Saturday 22nd June. This isn’t your usual one-day event, the unique area aesthetics combined with eclectic line-ups has made the Night + Day show a force to be reckoned with, providing fans with fully a loaded experience in some totally obscure places.
The up and coming show is buried within the large gardens of Hatfield House, an estate built back in 1611 by Robert Cecil the first Earl of Salisbury don’t you know!
Just look at this line up…look at it!
