UO REVIEW: DOT TO DOTMay 30, 2013
Last weekend Dot to Dot hit up venues across Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham to showcase live music from the industry’s new, known and loved artists. When a festival can boast putting bands like Metronomy and The xx on the map like it’s nothing, you know something big will go down this time ’round. No way we’re gonna miss out on that then…
So, it was agreed: we’ll send someone from one of our stores to go mingle. Oh, hello Senior Sales Assistant Rachael Carrington from Urban Outfitters Bristol. Camera at the ready, Rachael went to day two of Dot to Dot Bristol when it rolled into her home town. Here’s some of her snaps…
Rachael’s Festival outfit…
Staring at Stars Shirt
The Lanes! Cool venue in an bowling alley which was stacked full of vintage bargains and treasures. Even the bassist from SCHNAUSCER was packing some vintage style.
Start The Bus! An American diner/live music venue where BLACK EYE were hitting up the stage.
The Birdcage – Vintage tea room, bar and music venue complimented with a little taxidermy and super snazzy lights. Check out DANCING YEARS do their thing.
Rachael looking super professional with a notepad.
This is Heledd from South Wales, spotted wearing BDG leggings and our JUJU Jellies! Girls got style…
Brewdog served super strong ales and had some sweet acoustic vibes going down.
Back to the Birdcage to see KENT! Indie singer with a sweet melodic voice.
Then off to Thekla to see some DJ’s on a boat! BOOOZE AND MUSIC ON A BOAT!!
