LET’S BE FRANK(FURT)June 14, 2013
We totally love store style right now on the UO blog. Last week it was all about our team at Urban Outfitters Stockholm, this week we bring you the damn cool crowd from the Frankfurt store.
They picked out their favourite Urban garms for this one-off photo-hoot, in local culture cafe “Souper”. Scroll down, meet the team, and explore their favourite city hangout.
Love what they’re wearing? Shop the outfits…

Minh Duy Nguyen A.K.A Ming Ding
Minh has worked as the in-store Housewares Manager since day one; he’s also a freelance graphic designer and a very talented break-dancer (something he likes to show off during our in store events or on his Youtube channel). He produces his own videos and designs all the choreography. His breakdance crew is named “Hä*wie”.
Katharina – A.K.A “Kad”
Kad is the store Visual Merchandise Assistant. She’s totally into art, fashion, music and almost everything creative. Although she loves styling, she also loves to work with the display artists in store. Window painting, power tools and curating her own art exhibitions is her thing. In her free time she’s a street artist, photographer, blogger and freelance stylist.
Cailin Klohk (Middle)
Cailin joined the gang back in 2011, working part time to fund her studies in fashion journalism. Her blog, “Birds Of A Feather Flock Together”, is very popular in Germany. You will often see Cailin in Berlin or London during Fashion Week, as she is always invited to the shows.
Giani is a real unique individual. He works as a Renewal Specialist in Frankfurt and is super passionate about his job at Urban. Giani loves fashion, art exhibitions, music and everything vintage. He is known for his great ‘80/90s style and is a real trendsetter in the store. In his free time he likes to design his own clothes.
Lisa works as the Visual Merchandise Manager. She was born in the UK but has lived in Frankfurt since she was a child. She is a real fashion addict and loves styling; she and Kad work together on the Fashion Friday feature on our Frankfurt Facebook page. Lisa also enjoys display and always brings a bit English humour to the German team.
Owner of our location spot “Souper”, Daniela Gottschalk opened the doors to her café 13 years ago. Nowadays, it’s “the place” to hang out in Frankfurt.
The interior is crammed full of old ornaments and tidbits, which constantly change when Daniela feels the need to evolve. The rustic interior is the perfect environment for a city full of young creatives and fashionable hotties and is often described as a “Berlin style location”.
If you ever find yourself exploring the streets of Frankfurt, you’ll be a foolish fool not check out “Souper”. Take a lead from our Urban crew, who decided it was the perfect place to shoot some fashion.
Big up the Frankfurt Crew!
