DIP AT THE LIDOJuly 2, 2013
Overcast and miserable. That’s right, British summer is underway and whether you’re one of the lucky ones jetting off to a hot summer destination you’ll be one of the lucky ones flying off to somewhere hotter, or getting burnt in your back garden, you’ll need a decent pair of swimming shorts to do it in.
Well lucky for you fellas out there, swimwear is now in store for the first time ever here at UO. Mosey along down to your local Urbs this summer and you will find yourself some Crooked Wave swim shorts – exclusive to Urban Outfitters in an array of summery prints. We went down to Brockwell Lido to test-drive these bad boys; as you can see they complement an amateur dive perfectly.

Brockwell Lido is a well-kept secret amongst South London locals tucked away in the mammoth Brockwell Park; it’s a Grade II listed Art Deco building built in 1937. The people behind the Lido describe the water as ‘refreshing’, which makes it perfect for those rare scorchers. Oh yeah, and this happened while we were(?) there, too…
