STOCKHOLM ADVENTURESJuly 6, 2013
Yes Yes! Once again we’ve been on adventure to find unique locations to shoot our Urban fashion.
Not long ago we found ourselves strolling the streets of Berlin, hunting down the cities many hidden delights. Now we head further north to Swedish capital Stockholm, home to one of our many UO stores and most importantly a city packed full of our kind of culture.
Here’s just a sneak peek into what we got up to. Keep up with the UO blog for interviews, videos, and a deep exploration into Stockholm’s culture and the individuals within.
Our first stop was Urban Outfitters Stockholm. Here we met our good-looking Swedish gang to find out where they like to hang and what Stockholm culture is all about.
Appearing haggard from our travels, they suggested we head on over to Honest Al’s Barber shop to freshen up. Al himself provided cut-throat razor shave services, telling tales of his punk rock n’ roll inspirations whilst he worked magic with the blades.
Now feeling funky fresh (and a little lighter around the cheeks), we ventured over to music venue, bar, restaurant, and cool crowd hangout, Tradgarden. Situated under the tall bridges on the southern side of the city, this epic party location proved the ideal place to shoot some Autumn-Winter style.
The following day we set out searching for some more Stockholm sweet spots. With the skate scene still strong around these parts, popping into Khalani boards seemed only appropriate.
No working day is complete without coffee. So we headed over to Coffice, a fully loaded coffee bar with office space for creative freelancers. Think Starbucks, but where laptop lovers are a little more sociable.
Our last stop was to Stockholm’s own Speakeasy Tattoo Parlour. Here tattoo artist (and parlour owner) Klara told us the story about how her tattoo dreams began. Our photography crammed inside to take full advantage of her awesome vintage décor.
Boom! Stay tuned for a deeper delve into these awesome locations.
