BAUHAUS AT THE BARBICANAugust 8, 2012
We love the Barbican Centre. Even its pretty intimidating Brutalist facade. Seriously, it plays host to some massively unusual and creative exhibitions and events, which inject colour into the somewhat grey easterly London district. Until 12 August, Bauhaus: Art As Life takes centre stage, and is the biggest exhibition of the world’s most famous art school to take place in over 40 years.
It shows utopian visions and diverse artistic production aplenty, and with mediums on display ranging from painting, sculpture, installation, photography and film to architecture, they’ll be something cool to see for even your pickiest of friends. So grab some tickets and jump on the tube to Barbican for a few hours of hard-as-concrete culture.
