HIPSTER ICONS

Albert Einstein once said – “Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.” Little did he know that years after his demise, the imagination of Seattle-based artist Cheyenne Randall would come to transform himself, as well as a collection of other historic icons, into tattooed hipsters.

More than just a gimmick, here are Randall’s thoughts on his recent creations.

“I started out by drawing tattoos on certain personalities in magazines and wanted to step it up. I taught myself Photoshop and thus began a slight obsession with seeing out of pure curiosity what some of my favourite iconic personalities would look like, perhaps if they were in a parallel universe or took another path in life. Really I just let my imagination run wild.” – Randall, The Today Show.
