SUNDAYS WITH THRILLS AND FRILLS

ONE OUTFIT, FOUR WAYS

Here’s a crazy idea: what if Sundays were made for being creative, rather than for being lazy. We know it’s madcap, but hear us out. There’s this cool blogger called Elisabeth at Thrills & Frills, who spends her Sundays styling it up, eating fancy foods and rifling through books and films. But don’t panic, even she finds time to lounge in the garden. We asked her all about her perfect Sunday and how she’d style up one of our favourite co-ordinates of the season. Be sure to swing by her blog, too.

“My perfect Sunday goes like this;”

ONE OUTFIT, FOUR WAYS

Favourite place to go: I either like to stay close to my flat in Stoke-Newington, roam the local cafes and car boot sales, or head down to browse my favourite shops on Redchurch Street in Shoreditch. If I’m back in the countryside of Northern Ireland, it’s all about sitting in the garden with my parents and the dogs, reading the papers, and pretending I’m a grown-up. Utter bliss!

Favourite food: Anything egg related, especially the amazing omelettes at our local Turkish cafe! If not that, I will treat myself to fancy bread and cheese.

ONE OUTFIT, FOUR WAYS

Favourite thing to watch/read/listen to: Recently on a Sunday I like to watch ‘The Thin Man’ or Marx Brothers films, because the humour in these old films is fantastic! I’m currently also obsessing over a great book ‘The Last Bohemians: The Two Roberts’ by Roger Bristow. It’s about two Scottish artists during the 1920′s. If I’m listening to music, it’s The Shoes and Blood Orange at the moment.
