COLLECTIVE: ON LOCATIONJuly 7, 2014
In the fifth issue of Collective, we look to moments frozen in time, rediscovered through stories hidden beneath the realms of conventional culture.
To capture this theme in visual form, we headed to the South of England to Hammerwood Park estate. Built in 1792 by Benjamin Latrobe, the architect behind the White House in Washington, Hammerwood Park was owned by rock legends Led Zeppelin in the ‘70s. Feeling the effects of a fair few raucous parties, it was revived from a near derelict state by the Pinnegar family in 1982.
To this day, the family preserve the history of Hammerwood Park through a contrast of derelict rooms merged with extravagant antique collections – all protected by 18th century brick and mortar.
Now take a look behind the scenes of the shoot and meet the crew.
