Playing Donkey Kong for ten hours, tripping out on a pack of Nerds and hallucinating your friends are emojis – that’s pretty much the Kero Kero Bonito experience.

The sonic lovechild of J-Pop and PC Music, KKB hail from London with lead vox Sarah waxing lyrical on pink shrimps and video games before switching into her native Japanese tongue where – well, we have no idea what she’s talking about here because um, we don’t speak Japanese. But much like a bottle of Tizer and neon blue ice pop, don’t think about the ingredients – just take the aural e-numbers and feel the sugar rush high.
