URBAN OUTFITTING – THE WALK OF SHAME SHIRT

While the classic button-down shirt has had countless incarnations, it continues to be heralded as a wardrobe staple. Call it a chameleon if you will, but a well cut button-down is a versatile piece which can transform and be transformed.

This season at UO, the BDG Relaxed Boyfriend Shirt takes lead in our everyday uniform, so we asked blogger and youtube guru Yanin Namasonthi of ‘I Dress Myself’ to create a three-ways-to-wear edit to display the versatility of this wardrobe essential.

I’ll be styling three outfits that you can wear to a meeting, a cinema date or running around the city exploring art galleries. I tend to go with comfort with everything I wear; layering, loose and baggy styling is my aesthetic.

“For this outfit I’ve mixed feminine pieces with a sports luxe vibe – perfect for when you’re out exploring. I’ve kept the colour palette very neutral, layering over the shirt with a grey trench coat that adds a subtle contrast. Trainers and a backpack are must have accessories for when you’re on the go, too.”

Wearing:

Sparkle & Fade Quilted Midi Pencil Skirt
Light Before Dark Crepe Trench Coat
Adidas Gazelle Suede Trainers
BDG Relaxed Boyfriend Shirt

Outfit Three
URBAN OUTFITTING – WALK OF SHAME SHIRT “For a cinema date, baggy items are my go-to staples – you’re going to be sitting down for two hours so you need to wear something comfortable. I’ve worn the shirt tucked into the jeans as I’m a big fan of anything high waisted, and finished the ensemble with a lightweight trench to make the outfit less heavy.”

Wearing:

BDG Brushed Plaid Scarf
BDG Relaxed Boyfriend Shirt
Staring at Stars Casual Soft Trench Coat
BDG Girlfriend Jeans
Reversible Vegan Leather Oversized Tote Bag
Adidas Gazelle Suede Trainers
