BE KIND TO WRITERS AND EDITORSSeptember 1, 2012
We’ve unearthed an amazing fact! September is Be Kind to Writers and Editors Month. It’s on the internet, it’s fact, you can’t take it away from us… So we rounded up our writers and editors and found out just how much nice they can take. Turns out, quite a lot.
On a scale of one to nice, how nice are you?
Why 10, of course! But if I haven’t been fed for a few hours I think it’s safe to say you can drop the 0.
What’s the nicest food you know?
Have you ever been to Nice?
No, but I’ve heard the climate’s ever so nice.
What was the last nice thing you did for somebody?
I caught an old man who nearly fell on the bus. I also bought my boyfriend a jumper, but that’s not as exciting.
What’s your favourite word that rhymes with nice?
Do you like Nice biscuits?
What’s the nicest thing anybody’s ever done for you?
My best friends got me a male stripper (in sailor uniform) for my 21st birthday…
Where’s the nicest place in the world?
I’m hoping it’s Bali as I’m going there in two weeks!
Would you rather be naughty or nice?
I have the urge to say naughty, but I’m going to go with nice.
Who’s the nicest person you know?
Probably me. Ha! It would really have to be my mum; she always puts everyone before her and helps anyone, in a flash!
What’s the nicest thing about your job?
Coming to work each day to super-duper colleagues!
What if there’s no more Mr Nice guy?
Ooh toughie. Bad boy it is then!
What does nice mean to you?
Being selfless and sweet.
Write a short poem about the word nice.
Prepare to be blown away:
What’s nicer, a kitten or a pizza?
Put the kitten on the pizza and you’ve got yourself an answer.
