Here at Urban we have been huuuge fans of Daisy Knights jewellery ever since it launched in 2009 and we’re in good company with Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe counted amongst the celeb following. When we found out Urban Outfitters were getting the exclusive on her edgy collaboration with eco brand MADE we had to find out more about the girl behind the brand.

What were your inspirations behind this collaboration?
I have stuck with the rock ‘n’ roll style which runs through my mainline, particularly using the skull motif which is my signature style. I was inspired by using brass, my main line is precious metal so is rather small and delicate, but with the brass i could design chunky statement necklaces and thick cuffs. Its kind of rock ‘n’ roll meets Africa.

What are your favourite spots in Cornwall to eat/shop/relax?
We live at Mawgan Porth which has a really beautiful beach, the Scarlet Hotel is my favourite place for coffee and the most amazing view over Mawgan Porth. The food there is delicious and they do great deals for lunch in the off season.I love surfing Watergate Bay at sunset and then having a drink in the Beach Hut Cafe afterwards. I tend to shop online rather than on the high street as I like to try clothes on with what I already have in my wardrobe, but there are some great art shops in St Ives. There’s a great Deli called The Pantry in Newquay, which does the best and biggest salads and sandwiches in Cornwall!

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party
My 5 best girl friends and I would get Rick Stein to come and cook some fresh fish.

What are your handbag essentials?
I always have at least 2 pieces of jewellery in my bag incase i want to switch what I’m wearing. My MADE small leather clutch, Creme de la Mere lip balm, clear mascara from Great Lashes, Smythsons panama diary, hand cream from Neom Sicilian Lemon & Fresh Basil flavour, its insanely yummy smelling.

What are you listening to at the moment?
The Vaccines, I recently saw them at the Eden Sessions which is a gig in the Eden Project in Cornwall, it was amazing. Kanye West and Jay Z album, this makes me run faster in the gym.

If you were invisible for the day what would you do?
I would spray paint my feet shocking pink and freak people out by walking around and all they could see would be bright pink feet.
