Mura Masa aka Alex Crossan, has perfected the art of the alternative pop song. When the 19 year old (yeah, 19, we know) dropped ‘Lotus Eater’ a few months ago we didn’t know flute could ever sound so good. But then came Someday Somewhere EP and we curled ourselves into a little ball of electronic happiness.

Not only has he released an incredible EP, he bagged NAO, Denai Moore and Jay Prince for his debut. The EP is instantaneously lovable, finger smashing the repeat button kinda good. The EP flirts with what we already know and love from the likes of Odesza, Kygo and Purity Ring, but manages sit apart. Same same but different.

And don’t even get us started on ‘Love For That’ featuring Shura. A sultry mix of flutes, violin, bells and hushed vocals tied up in one sexy electronic bundle. We want to hear more of Shura Masa please…

Check out ‘Love For That’ below and then head over to Spotify to listen to the entire EP.
