FUTURE NOISE: RATIONALE

January 15, 2016

Since Rationale’s breakout track Fast Lane dropped in 2015, the London-based, Zimbabwe-born singer has exploded online with blissed out fans bobbing their heads to his delicious electronic-infused R&B sound.

And now he’s back to kick 2016 into shape with a follow up to his Fuel To The Fire EP with the incredible ‘Something for Nothing’.

“Something for Nothing’ is a groove-based disco-tinged love song written about someone I know,” he explains. “I was listening to a lot of Prince and watching Marvin Gaye/ Quincy Jones documentaries around the time I wrote it. I’m a big bass-line fan so when I wrote this one, I knew exactly where I wanted to take it.”

With his rich baritone vocals combined with soulful melodies and introspective lyrics, we’re sold. Be sure to catch him headline Village Underground on April 7th.
