DISPOSABLE DIARIES: JACKMASTER

June 10, 2016

Things are getting warmer, the sky bluer and the sun is (sometimes) shining, which only means one thing; festival season is here.

To kick off a summer of music and frivolity, we sent Jackmaster a disposable camera to document his experience at Annie Mac Presents: Lost & Found. Here’s what happened.

“Many years ago crusader knights poured forth from Malta to do battle with the infidels. Centuries later, loads of young ravers invade Malta to cause a riot in a castle. As venues go, it’s a belter with amazing views – Annie, Martinez Brothers, Skream and Richy Ahmed played serious sets within the castle walls.

You can’t take a disposable camera abroad without taking one vaguely pointless shot looking out to sea which looks way better when viewed through tinted sunglasses after a bottle of wine than it does in a photograph.

A wise man once said “there’s no such thing as too much cowbell”. The same goes for mirrorballs. And palm trees.

Obligatory ‘hands in the air’ moment at Toddla T’s pool party…big props to the lady on the right for a strong kaftan + hoop earrings combo.
