MORNING ROUTINES WITH JULIE EYE SEE

July 8, 2016

From golden sandy beaches to luscious green forests, French blogger Julie Eye See lives in one of the most ‘grammable places we’ve ever set eyes on. Her home in the south of France is tantalisingly close to the brightly coloured town, Biarritz and is full of hidden corners to explore, spots to watch the sunset and of course, places to snap. We caught up with Julie to find out about her morning routines.

UO: Hi Julie! After our tour of your beautiful boho house, we wanted to find out more about your lifestyle and routines. To start the day do you drink tea, coffee or fresh juice?

Black coffee! Not really surprising for a French girl. It’s the first thing I do in the morning.

UO: Do you prefer a slow, relaxed morning or do you rush around to get out the door?

During weekdays, it’s definitely a speedy dash to the door! I can be quite effective in the early hours of the day, probably because of my black coffee intake! On weekends, I take my time, enjoy, relax and focus on just doing nothing.

UO: What do you like to do in the morning to set the tone for your day?

It’s pretty simple, but when I have time I prepare a good breakfast like a smoothie bowl. I cut some fruits, crushed almonds, I add some grains and I’m full of vitamins for the day! It helps me to get a good start.

UO: You have a perfect complexion. Make-up or no make-up?

Oh thank you! No make up most of the time… I rather like “less is more”, I appreciate the natural. When I go out, I just put a little terracota blush and lipstick, that’s enough for me.

UO: Do you have any tips for when you want to give a little glow to your skin?

The sun! Moderately, but nothing better to have a beautiful complexion naturally tanned.

UO: Finally, a seasonal question… What do you add to your beauty routine when summer comes?

I love monoï, nothing better to nourish my skin and hair. And I love the smell of this coconut oil…
