Get to know brand of the week: FACTORY. We caught up with the founders to talk about the skate-inspired designs and their counter-culture influences.

“Growing up as a skater in the late 90’s/early 00’s, we will always feel inspired by and have a love for independent skate brands that really stood for something. The Shorty’s logo with the iconic red, white and blue skateboard image is one of our favourites, along with brands such as FUCT, Zoo York, Fido Dido, and Spliffy.”

“We would describe the ethos of FACTORY as anti-establishment, driven by youth and counter culture.”

“Our overall aim is for FACTORY to be an outlet for self expression.”

“When we approach design, we are looking at current affairs, pop culture and politics. We hope that through doing this, our designs and everything we stand for will resonate with all people, irrespective of age, gender, race or class.”
