URBAN OUTFITTING: STYLING THE COATIGAN THREE WAYS WITH @LAURASLITTLELOCKET

February 23, 2017

Spring is approaching, and we can’t wait to get our legs out. @Lauraslittlelocket shows us how she styles the coatigan three ways for the milder days ahead. Over to you, Laura…

Having a cosy, neutral throwover jacket has to be a staple in all of our wardrobes for those days when we want to be warm, but still on trend. All of these looks were so easy to put together and easily incorporated into any wardrobe.

Look One

First up, the striped t-shirt dress. It’s a throw on outfit! I have to admit, a bit chilly for this time of year, but spring is so close and it will be perfect for warmer days. The casual dress and trainer combo is perfect for giving the ‘off duty’ look. Of course, completed with the easy throw on coatigan!

Look Two

Next, I’ve gone a little more feminine with the sheer midi dress, but keeping it casual by adding Vans trainers. I love mixing looks and textures together, the girly vs skater look here goes really well and also the delicate material vs the chunky texture of the jacket works well! There is so much movement in this gorgeous dress.

Look Three

And last but not least, I’ve styled the coat with a very easy everyday look. Jeans, graphic tee and trainers; I really don’t think you can go wrong with jeans and a tee. The two match so well and finished off with the jacket, gives a total relaxed chic look.
