URBAN OUTFITTING: HOW TO STYLE THE COACH JACKET THREE WAYS WITH @TILLYJAYNE_

March 7, 2017

This trusty coach jacket is the spring staple that we can’t get enough of. Whether you’re out and about running errands in town or heading out to dinner with friends, it’s the perfect piece to slip on over anything and everything. Whether you’re dressing it up or down, the coach jacket is the piece you need for spring. We asked fashion blogger, @tillyjayne_ to show us how she styles our Escape The Ordinary coach jacket in three different ways for three different occasions. Over to you, Tilly…

Look One

This is a typical everyday look for me, when in doubt throw on a pair of your favourite jeans with a white shirt! These are two major staple items in my wardrobe, and both work really well with the coach jacket (essential for keeping warm/dry in this current freak weather we’re having). I finished the look with my favourite cat eye sunglasses – a necessary addition for hiding tired eyes and a pair of slip on loafers, my must have footwear for spring.

Look Two

Sometimes my style can veer into sporty, especially if I’m spending the day running errands. The coach jacket is just perfect for that, teamed with a comfy logo sweater, relaxed fit trousers and a trusty pair of Reebok Furylites. If I’m having a bad hair day a cap is essential, and I love to give a fairly monochrome outfit a pop of colour with an accessory such as this pastel pink backpack.

Look Three

This is a look I’d wear out to dinner or drinks with friends, my style isn’t overly dressy and I’m definitely not a heels person so instead I’ll wear a pair of smart loafers and team with a patterned or wide leg trouser and keep it simple on top. I love the subtle details of this black tee, it gives it more of an evening feel but remaining casual enough to also style for daytime!
