IN COPENHAGEN: MAD HATTERS TEA EMPORIUMJanuary 9, 2013
We’re in Copenhagen, what a place to be! Whilst running around shooting for our Spring catalogue we managed to work up quite a thirst. Luckily for us we stumbled across the Mad Hatters Bubble Tea Emporium…
Established in 2012, this unique little tea shop brews tea, hot or cold, based on original recipes taken from Taiwan. What’s the deal? Green or black tea, mixed with your fruit of choice, and fresh berries of all exotic varieties…(not to mention a cheeky “whoopie” pie or two)!
Here’s a few found words from owner Simon Jandrup and his business partner…
“Forget about soggy tea bags, tiny cups and boring tea parties at your granny’s house – Bubble tea is tea like you’ve never experienced it before!”
“Get ready to leave the boring conventions of everyday life behind and prepare to enter the wonderous world of the Mad Hatter Bubble Tea Emporium…And remember … don’t sip it – slurp it!”
This is the place to be when craving tea in Copenhagen, the emporium was bursting at the seams when we entered. What did we go for?
Luella (left): “I had the Jasmine tea milkshake with traditional tapioca balls (very chewy)”
Denise (right): “Well I went fort the coconut tea milkshake, mixed with popping tapioca & traditional tapioca balls, (the popping literally burst in my mouth!)
Yummy. In Copenhagen? Check it over on Sankt Hans Torv nr 2200 Copenhagen. Do it!
