UO MARBLE ARCH: DAVID SHRIGLEY!January 18, 2013
David Shrigley is back on UO soil to celebrate our brand spanking new store, UO Marble Arch. Old Shriggers has got a whole bundle of spectacles to bring to the table! We’re talking an in-store art installation, a spoken word DJ set, and some damn cool exclusive T-shirts to give away…
We’re bloomin’ excited to have Shrigley on board for the big party, and it’s all about his pterodactyls project “Freedom”.
“Pterodactyls are awesome. Nobody messes with them. That’s why they are free. That’s why they represent freedom more than anything else I can think of. The T-Rex is probably quite free based on the ‘nobody messes with them’ criteria, but they can’t fly can they? So the pterodactyl wins it.” – David Shrigley
Along with some in store Dinosaur art going down (you’ll have to come party to see it), David has designed exclusive “Freedom” t-shirts for to us to give away! There will be plenty in store on the big day, but you can also be a winner by playing some online games with us…
Here’s the deal…
